That statement from Jeff Jechura summarizes the philosophy that guides the efforts of Family Flooring, the business owned by Jeff Jechura and Tony Johnson. Family flooring feels justified in proclaiming they are the best in the field because of the personal commitment both Jeff and Tony bring to the business.

"If you walk on it, we have it,” Jeff states. Family Flooring carries top quality products of leading manufacturers, which include carpeting, hardwood, laminates, ceramics and vinyl.

Jeff has been in the flooring business since 1985. During those 19 years, he has gained more than just experience. Extensive training from those who manufacture the products they sell, and a dedicated self-study commitment has equipped Jeff to provide truly informed guidance. Because of his knowledge and work ethic, Jeff has served in management positions for most of his career.

Jeff was the customer relations representative for a large flooring firm. “This was a great learning experience that has enabled me to develop and conduct a business that is geared toward successfully meeting people’s needs and expectations,” he says. “When you know what makes people unhappy, you are better able to ensure that your customers are satisfied.”

Tony is the partner in this joint venture. After serving 20 years in the Navy, he spent the next five years in sales and management positions gaining the skills needed both in flooring and in helping clients make choices best suited to their needs. When asked to summarize the role of Family Flooring he replies without hesitation, “Service, customer satisfaction, convenience and value.” Then, Tony and Jeff expand on those topics.

• SERVICE. When an individual, or a couple, comes in or calls with questions about flooring, the Family Flooring team makes arrangements to go to the home to help with an appropriate flooring selection. They not only visit, they take samples with them so the customer can see the choice options in the setting where it is to be placed.
